Literacy is freedom. For visually impaired Nigerians, braille is the key to education, employment, and independence. Our Braille Literacy Program teaches reading and writing to 200 children and adults this year through weekly classes at schools and community centers.

What We Do
Certified braille instructors run 12-week courses in partner locations. Each student receives a personal braille kit. Advanced students are introduced to assistive technology including screen readers and audio books.
